Where is the studio located? The studio address is 1362 N US1, Suite 302 in Ormond Beach, FL, 32174
What are the studio hours? The studio is usually open on weekdays from 9:30-4, and occasionally on Saturday. Sessions are by appointment only. Click here to contact us!
When should I schedule my maternity session? We usually schedule our maternity sessions to be around the 7th or 8th month of pregnancy, when mom is showing her baby bump, but hopefully isn't feeling too uncomfortable yet. We recommend calling the studio in your 5th month to ensure availability. One exception to this is if you would like a maternity progression package (where we capture an image every 4 weeks for the duration ofyour pregnancy)-in this case, call us as soon as you know you're pregnant!
When should I schedule my newborn session? Newborn sessions are done between 5-10 days after the baby's birth. This is to ensure those sweet, sleepy images that everyone wants. We recommend scheduling your newborn session as far in advance as possible, even if your due date is just an estimate. This will ensure you a spot on our calendar. As your due date approaches, we will keep in contact via text, e-mail or phone to update your session date as necessary. If you need to schedule a newborn session at the last minute, we will do our very best to accomodate you.
What can I expect during my newborn session? The studio will be very warm the day of your session to ensure that your baby is kept comfortable. We will start the session with family photos and then continue with photos of just the baby. Newborn sessions generally take between 1 1/2- 2 1/2 hours.
Can I include other family members in my newborn session? Absolutely! Just let us know ahead of time so we can set up the studio accordingly. You can let your family members know that we will photograph them during the first 45 minutes of the session and then they are free to leave, or they can stay and observe. There is no extra charge for including additional family members in your newborn session.
Do I need to bring anything to my newborn session? We have lots of props and blankets here, so you don't have to bring anything. However, if you have an item that is sentimental to you and you'd like to use it during the session, feel free to bring it. Other than that, just bring plenty of diapers and formula (if your baby is bottlefed). We recommend that if you are doing family portraits, bring a change of clothing, because quite often, someone gets wet! Other than that, we've got you covered!
When can I see my images? At the end of your session, we will schedule your Portrait Selection Appointment. During this appointment, we will look over your images, make your final selections, and order your products. This appointment is usually 7-14 days after your session.
Is there anything I need to do to prepare for my session? An important step in preparing for your session is sending us photos of the walls you plan to display images on. This will help us not only in choosing props and backdrops for your session, but in sizing your portraits accordingly. Our goal is to provide you with portrait art you can look at and love everyday.
